Kirby and Bambi VanBurch Present:
"The Branson Royal White Bengal Tiger Foundation"
Dedicated to the care, conservation, and preservation of this almost extinct species.
|
The Foundation
The Branson Royal White Bengal Tiger Foundation was started in 1996 with the arrival of Branson, our first Royal White Bengal Tiger. We now have four Royal White Bengal Tigers, one Spotted Leopard, two Black Leopards, one Bengal Tiger, and our newest addition, Merlin the Lion cub.
|
Our Facility
Most of our inhabitants are here because they were homeless, abandoned, and or abused by their previous care takers. Kirby and Bambi rescue them and put them in a loving, caring environment. They get secure, clean, comfortable housing, proper nutrition, and excellent veterinary care.
|
Our Goals
We made huge progress with the public opening of our indoor exotic animal habitat. However, we are currently almost at maximum capacity. Kirby and Bambi look forward to a possible renovation of our current facility expanding our ability to house and care for more rescued animals.
|
Our Mission
We strive to stay financially strong while providing the best care money can buy to preserve this almost extinct species. It is estimated that in the wild, it takes a population of 10,000 Bengal tigers to produce one royal white tiger. The last white tiger sighted in the wild was in 1951. Today, all white tigers are bred in captivity. We hope to contribute to the numbers by starting an extensive breeding program.

Frequently Asked Questions
|
Q: Where does the money I donate go?
A: All of the proceeds go to the everyday care of our animal population. Housing costs, food and vet care, and facility staffing all cost money.
